Task manager

Turns “Could you…” into a task.

CouldU is a simple task manager for the requests people send your way. Capture each one in seconds, keep everything in a single priority-ordered list, and swipe tasks through to done.

Works on the web and on Android, with one account across both.

Built for the way requests actually arrive

Someone asks in a chat, a hallway or a meeting. CouldU makes it easy to catch that request before it slips, and to keep track of who asked.

Capture in a second

In the Android app, a chat-style box is pinned to the bottom of the screen. Type the request, hit Add, and it lands in your Backlog. Nothing else to fill in.

One list, in priority order

See everything at once, most important first. Press and drag a task up or down to change its priority, on your phone or on the web board.

Swipe it along

In the Android app, swipe a task right to move it to the next stage, or left to send it back. Colour-coding shows where every task stands at a glance.

Know who asked

Note who requested each task and when it’s due. In the Android app you can filter by requester, or sort by due date when you need to see what’s coming up.

Finished work steps aside

In the Android app, done tasks fade out of your list so it only shows what’s left. They’re still one filter away whenever you want to look back.

Web and Android, in sync

Use the same account on your phone and in the browser. The web app also gives you a board view, with a column for each stage.

How it works

Three steps from “Could you…?” to done.

  1. Capture it

Type the request into the box at the bottom of the app. It goes straight into your Backlog.

  2. Put it in order

Drag tasks so the most important sit at the top. Add a due date or who asked if it helps.

  3. Move it along

Swipe a task from Backlog to In progress, then to Done. Done tasks fade out of the way.

Backlog In progress Done

Next time someone says “Could you…”, write it down.

CouldU is in early access, so creating an account needs an access code. If you already have one, you can get started now.
